John Carlin's Virginia
John Carlin's Virginia is the Emmy Award Winning segment on the Fox 2127 10 o'clock news that airs the first and third Tuesdays of the month. It focuses on out of the way places, people and the things they do -- in Virginia.

By-Laws Amended
Based on the vote by the members in attendance at the January 21 club meeting, the proposed by-laws amendments were approved.
The proposed changes have been incorporated into the by-laws document. The newly amended by-laws can be viewed by members of the club by logging into the website, hovering over Membership, then clicking on Club Documents, and clicking on the "20130121 By-Laws" link.

Proposed Changes to By-Laws
The Roanoke Valley Mustang Club Board has met to consider proposed changes to the By-Laws, we will briefly cover the proposed changes in the November 19th club meeting, and will be voted on at the December Christmas Party.

New Logo
After quite a few iterations with different elements and colors, the Board of Directors narrowed down the proposed logos to 2. At the October monthly meeting, the members voted on the 2 finalists and overwhelmingly chose a new logo.

Heart of Carolina Mustang Club
We've been invited to the Heart of Carolina Mustang Club's 19th annual show coming up next Saturday (10/6) at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC (near Raleigh). Proceeds from the show benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, Wounded Warriors Project, Salvation Army and the Ronald McDonald House of NC and southern Virginia. They will have food, raffle prizes and a 50/50 as well as best of show and a trophy for driving the furthest distance. They will also have a special guest at the show from Ford Racing. Noted auto journalist and author John Clor, a former SVT PR man who today manages Ford Racing's club outreach program and the Enthusiast section on FordRacing.com web site, will be on-site at the show for a special Ford Racing "Meet-n-Greet." He'll be giving away FREE full-color Boss 302 posters and 2012 Ford Racing Performance Parts CD catalogs to the first 100 attendees who stop by his tent.

Valley Mustangs Unlimited
Valley Mustangs Unlimited hosted a great car show yesterday, the weather cooperated, and the RVMC members had a great time. After the show, we cruised back via a stop over at Kenney's in Lexington. Here's a short video of the cruise.

Mabry's Mill Cruise
We had a good outing, cruising to Mabry's Mill. We had to deal with a little rain on the way, but it didn't really open up on us until we arrived. Luckily, by the time we got something to eat the rains had subsided, and we were able to enjoy the scenery and good company. You can check out the video here.
